·  To extend the classroom into the outdoors with activities that supplement and compliment the curriculum
·  To foster the thrill of discovery and the joy of lifelong learning.
·  To provide an atmosphere for students to experience greater confidence, competence, and appreciation of and respect for the environment.
·  To encourage the development of cooperation and leadership through personal achievement, self-expression and team-building.
·  To incorporate the YMCA values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility in each program offered.

Booking Information

Camp staff are available year round to answer any questions you may have. Schools are encouraged to book a site tour, and/or pre-trip slideshow presentation. Working together with teachers and school administrators, the YMCA staff guarantees the highest quality program designed to meet your group needs. We are pleased to assist with any or all program details.

Curriculum-Based Programs

We offer a wide range of quality environmental and outdoor education programs to enhance classroom study. All of our programs are designed to meet BC curriculum needs, accommodate different grade levels and as a springboard for understanding and action. Many of our programs are adaptable to highlight specific educational themes or subjects.
