YMCA Camp Howdy and YMCA Camp Elphinstone offer a wide range of quality environmental and outdoor education programs to enhance classroom study. All of our programs are designed to meet BC curriculum needs, accommodate different grade levels and act as a springboard for understanding and action.

Schools are encouraged to book a site tour, and/or pre-trip slideshow presentation. Working together with teachers and school administrators, the YMCA will provide a high quality program designed to meet your group’s needs.
YMCA Camp Elphinstone is available for rentals September to June. 144 acres of oceanfront property provides visitors with unique opportunities to explore new ideas, new environments, and new people.
YMCA Camp Howdy is available for rentals in May, June and September. YMCA Camp Howdy is dedicated to working with young people - teaching them new skills and building identity. A wide range of programs offers many personal and group development.
