Now that the old Downtown YMCA has closed for construction, soon you'll see big changes at the corner of Barclay and Burrard. By 2009, a new Downtown YMCA will be visible behind our familiar heritage-brick frontage: six bright and airy floors offering accessible facilities and programs geared to men, women, children, youth, families and seniors from all walks of life, plus 69 new licensed, YMCA child care spaces and a secure rooftop play area.
