This medically supervised exercise program provides individual structured cardiac rehabilitation in a fun social environment.
YMCA Healthy Heart has been providing a structured program for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease for more than 35 years. We help cardiovascular patients and those at risk of developing heart disease live longer, more enjoyable lives. A team of dedicated health professionals will help you identify and reduce risks through:
- Patient education
- Individualized exercise prescription and testing
- Medically supervised exercise classes
- Nutrition counselling with a Registered Dietician
- Assistance in lipid management
- Weight management
- Assistance in diabetic management
- Resources for stress management and smoking cessation
