The Champlain YMCA is a vibrant community-serving centre that offers a caring and supportive environment for children and parents. Located in the Champlain Heights Community School, in space provided by the Vancouver Park Board, this centre provides both quality community programs as well as links to community services and resources. The centre has been serving the community since September 2011 and includes a licensed before and after school care program and opportunities for parents to connect with other families.

The YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of children and we know that kids need much more than just immediate family to thrive. By partnering with the Vancouver Park Board, we are able to offer parents in the Champlain Heights neighbourhood a larger family of people who care, understand and are there to support them with their most important job—raising a healthy family.
