Welcome to the new Champlain YMCA! We are a vibrant community-serving centre that offers a supporting, caring haven for children and parents. Located in the Champlain Heights Community School in space provided by the Vancouver Park Board, this centre provides both much-needed quality community programs as well as links to community services and resources. This includes before and after school care programs serving children 5 to 12 years old as well as parenting workshops, family wellness activities and opportunities for parents to connect with other families.

The YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of children and we know that kids need much more than just immediate family to thrive. By partnering with the Vancouver Park Board, we are able to offer parents in Champlain Heights a larger family of people who care, understand and help them with their most important job-raising a healthy family.

The centre opened in September 2011 and is now serving this thriving community.
