Schedule Changes
Due to gym space changes, shedules are currently not available online. Please contact the Tong Louie Family YMCA to find out about schedule information.
Cancellations
Game times and locations are subject to change should gym space become unavailable for a given night. In the event this occurs, the YMCA will make every attempt to relocate teams to an alternate game site location and give adequate notice to all participants. Please, keep in mind that at times, schools may cancel the YMCA's use of a gym due to a school function, and may neglect to tell us until the last minute.
Please also remember that our use of these school gyms can and will be cancelled at any time if we are abusing the facilities. Ensure that younger children are supervised at all times when on school grounds or in school or in school facilities.
Family Involvement
We want to encourage parents and families of the participants to continue to be actively involved with their child's team both in practice and games. Youth Sports are family programs at the YMCA, and your active involvement is a huge encouragement to coaches and participants.
We at the YMCA sincerely hope that you and your child's season are a positive experience. Any questions or concerns can be answered by calling the YMCA at 604-575-9622. See you on the court!
The "Rules Manual" was developed to explain the philosophy and rules of our League. It is provided as an aid for coaches, referees, players and parents in the YMCA/Steve Nash YBA Youth Basketball program.
